How to make the perfect bacon

I always try to cook a big breakfast on the weekends but that bacon is such a pain when you have to also cook biscuits, eggs, hash browns, so I discovered a much simpler way to cook it and it has made it a lot easier . I tried to cook back in the oven on foil about 10 years ago but it burned so I just tossed that idea out and the bacon. The key to making really good bacon is Parchment Paper. Remember its the Parchment Paper .

grab a large cookie sheet and layer it with the parchment paper. Lay each piece of bacon where they are  not touching. If they overlap and touch they will not cook as well.

Here it is while cooking

Here it is all cooked. This is the regular bacon and not the thin cut. I immediately take it off the pan and put it on paper towels to drain and press them with the paper towels to get the grease out. Have the plate with the paper towels ready because the faster you get them off and get the grease out the better they will taste

RECIPE

1 package of bacon

Cookie Sheet

Parchment Paper

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line the cookie sheet with parchment paper. Place each piece of bacon on the parchment paper without touching any other pieces of bacon. Cook for about 17-19 minutes or however you like it crispy. Immediately remove it from the pan and place the bacon on paper towels and blot the grease off.
